Hi people! Here is bringing the next part of this series. If you missed the previous part Click here
Enjoy!!!

Tale laid down on her bed as she as sobbed uncontrollably
"Oh God! Oh God! Please forgive me , forgive meeee."
"How did this happen", she thought to herself. Her life had been fairly interesting in the past four months as she was been courted by three young men.
Uche, she liked least of them. He wasn't six feet tall, he was kind of handsome but not like Reynolds and Alvin. He didn't even have a car and for heaven's sake he just got a job in a private firm.
Alvin was the most good looking of them. He didn't have a car too, but at least he could borrow his brother's anytime he needed to take her out. Besides, he works in a multinational company and he talked about getting a brand new car before the year runs out. He even asked Tale the kind of car she preferred. Not to mention the fact that, he had a height of a basketball player, and a smile that could melt a woman's heart. "Oh dear!" She sighed.
Reynolds was also handsome but not as Alvin. He isn't so tall, but he is considerably taller than she is. And he was rich, so terribly rich. With a house in Lekki, three latest cars, a power bike and flourishing businesses to mention more. He had swept her off her feet with gifts, exquisite dinners and shopping sprees. She was even starting to dream of a life with him.
"Oh God! I can't believe this. What have I done? I am so ashamed of myself" she wailed, as she continued sobbing.

Tanya waited at the welfare stand as she scanned the dispersing congregation for her friend. She had been so worried since she got the text from her friend yesterday .
She was getting ready for bed at 11:30 pm when her phone buzzed with an incoming text. She saw it was from Tale and quickly opened it.
" I need to see you unfailingly tomorrow", the message said.
Fear and anxiety gripped Tanya at the same time. " What could be wrong with Tale" she asked herself. Oh God! please help my friend , please don't let any harm come to her.
Tanya was jolted back to present as someone tapped her in greeting.
Finally, she saw Tale working towards her. Something must be really wrong, Tale is not looking her normal cheerful self. Tanya muttered to herself.
As She waited for more crowd to thaw, Tanya discovered Tale was not alone.
"Kai Tale!" she said to herself, "who be this again o! Tale and all this boys.Hmm"
Finally, Tale located her friend at their usual spot. The two friends hugged each other in greeting.
"Tanya this is Uche from the youth group. Uche this is my friend Tanya".
"Nice to meet you".
"same here". They said as they exchanged pleasantries.
"Ladies I'll be on my way", Uche said as he left the girls.
"Hmm, Tale! Tale! So that's your Ibo dude".
"Ehenhen! Tanya please, he is not my dude" Tale retorted sharply. "But I told you all about him. We just gist and talk. I already told you he is not my kind of guy".
"But he keeps inviting your for outings".
"And I am always turning them down".
"He looks like a calm guy, why do you hate him so much"
"I already told you. He is not my type. I don't blame you Tanya you already have a fiancé so you don't know how rigorous it is to find a perfect man".
"Haha!" Tanya laughed.
"A perfect man, does he even exist?"
"Yes o! I want a perfect man and I will get it".
"Then maybe you consider marrying Jesus!"
"Jesus ke! Which kain person u be Tanya? why are you being troublesome. She said as both friends laughed.
"But you wanted a perfect man. Look, we are all imperfect and as Christians we strive for perfection as we live out God's word daily".
"Egbele o! Here we go again. Pastor Tanya, I have enough preaching today, I don't think I need extra. Henhen lest I forget, I have some thing important to discuss with you. Let's find a place to talk".

Tale and Tanya settled down in Joann's place, an eatery close to their church. After placing their orders, Tanya looked straight at Tale .
" You can start talking now" .
"Hmm tale sighed! Girl, I messed up big time and am so ashamed of myself", Tale began to sob.
Tanya reached for her hand, "Its ok, just tell me what happened".
"Its Reynolds! its Reynolds!" she continued sobbing
"What happened to Reynolds?"
"I went to his house on Friday and and....."
"And what Tale?"
"He proposed to me".
"Wow! that's great news"
"Just hear me out Tanya. He got me a very beautiful diamond ring and I was so excited. We ate , drank, and had so much fun. Before I knew it, his lips was on mine and we started kissing".
"Oops!" Tanya gasped
"Then then..."
"Then what?" her friend eyed her curiously.
"He carried me off the bedroom".
"What !"
"Please hear me out Tanya. He carried me off the bedroom. I protested violently but he was already on top me and his weight pinned me down".
"Omg Tale ! What happened next, did he rape you?
"No, he didn't", she shook her head . He asked me to let him have sex with me since we were already engaged. I tried to convince him that I believed in sex after marriage but he said he loved me so much and couldn't wait to have me. He told me how much he loved me and the kind of beautiful life we would have together . He even promised that he come and see my parents immediately we leave his place. So I agreed".
"No Tale you didn't?"
"I did!" , Tale said as she burst into tears again.
"So, did he do it?"
He started kissing me again, and I allowed him to remove my clothes. But I still had my undies on. He was about to remove my undies, when I heard a clap from behind. I jerked from under him to find a pregnant woman in the room staring down at us.
"What! How did she get there? who is she?"
"I didn't know at first. But she dragged up Reynolds and gave him two hot slaps. Then she made a move for me. I quickly picked my clothes and ran out of the room. She chased me to the living room, but she couldn't get to me because Reynolds was holding her back. She called me a bitch and slut. Ha Tanya! I suffered", she sobbed.
"So what did you next?"
"Me? What do you expect. You want me to remain in house? I grabbed my bag and escaped outside. I didn't even take my shoes!"
"Were you able to dress before you came out?"
"Dress ke? No o! Do I know what would have happened if I had spent another minute in that house? I had to dress up in the gate house!"
"Wow! Tale that's a handful." "But, who is the woman and why is she is behaving like that?"
"Well", Tale answered looking very embarrassed. "She is Reynolds wife and she lives in the states."

Good girls,

THE FEMELLE FACTOR

6:28 pm Unknown 0 Comments

Two weeks ago or was it three? Can't really say. Anyways, some weeks ago I got myself watching the series "Scandal' by chance. Though I would say It's not really my kind of series. Reasons? It had some pretty explicit sex scenes, which made me turn my face away or ask it to be forwarded, when those steamy scenes come on. Hey! Don't blame me, I am a Jesus groupie. I have got to flee from all appearances of evil.

OK, so back to the point. From the little I watched, the series revolved around a woman with the name "Olivia pope". She was what you could call a fixer. Hahaa! Now you are interested, let get the movie started, Gengen! Lol
Don't mind me joor, I watched too much of E! Channel in my university days. In fact, my sister and I started to gesture like the celebs, do their kind of hairstyles and even posed for pics like celebs! We were serious Hollywood wannabes. My sister who was in med school at that time, even entertained the idea of dropping medicine for acting! Thankfully, that's past us now. But really if you have have an opening, most especially in Hollywood I would be willing to take it. Who ever said I can't diversify. Just don't call me for a sex scene or strip tease shots.Lol

Now that you are laughing off your head ,shall we proceed. Jeez! where did that word come from "laughing off your head". Seriously, people don't become headless because you are enjoying a good laugh.
Is this suppose to be a comedy post or what? I guess I should have just called it " Time to laugh".

Moving on, like I said earlier, Olivia was a fixer, she fixed tough issues and made problems go away. And she worked with the president. (Bigz Girls)
Olivia went from having an affair with the Presido to dating one of his ( president's ) personal aid named Jake. A lot of things happened and Olivia's boyfriend got framed by Olivia's father for the murder of President junior(The president's son). Hmm,wahala dey o!
Oga president dealt with Jake no be small. One would think the president
did this because Jake was accused of murdering his son. But the underlining truth was that Oga presido was so mad that Mr Jake was sleeping with Olivia. Chaii! woman palava.

Afterwards, the president was to deliver Jake to Olivia's father for further prosecution (Olivia's father intended to kill Jake unknown to the president. Remember, he was the one who framed Jake initially).
Olivia got to know about her father's plan and she went to the President to request that Jake shouldn't be handed over to her father.
Then the shocker happened. As they argued back and forth,Olivia threatened that if he handed Jake over to her father, then he should forget about getting back together with her.
Then Oga at the top (Mr President) asked Olivia if she would go back to dating him if he didn't release Jake to her father. Of course, madam Olivia agreed. Wow!!! All hail the power of woman, or should I say it was booty power/ bottom power.

At that point, It dawned on me that women held so much power to influence and shape a number of events.

The world has had its share of influential women who shook the world greatly. Some for good and some for bad.
We have seen manipulative women as well awesome women in homes, offices and government who affected their spheres positively and negatively.
Whether you admit it or not, the way a family turns out is 80 percent based on the mother's influence.
A bad woman can tear brothers apart and good woman can make them bond closer.
One of my hubby favorite saying goes thus " Educate a man, you educate one. Educate a woman and you educate a community."

Women are caregivers, helpers, advisors , nurturers,multi-taskers and the list goes on. But the question is how are women using those abilities? And these abilities are what I call the femelle factor. Maybe I should make the question a bit more direct. How am I using my femelle factor? How are you using your femelle factor?
Do you use it to inspire or depress, do you use it to help or manipulate, do you use it for the welfare of others or for your selfish reasons.

Every word a woman speaks, every action she undertakes, every decision she makes goes out to influence a generation

How are you using your femelle factor.

Nb: Femelle means Female in French

GOD,

WHAT HAS "BAD" GOT TO DO WITH IT?

2:34 pm Unknown 4 Comments

I remember singing Tina Turner's "what love gat to do with it" in my early years. I would shake my head and move my body as I sang. And when I was among my friends, I would feel so cool singing the song. Don't blame me, I think that was the only hip song that I knew so well. Lol.

The cliché BAD has gone so viral today or should I say global. We hear phrases like BAD girl , BAD boy , BAD ride or sometimes wicked ride. Oops!
Well, if you are not familiar with hip hop culture you wouldn't understand what it means. Oldies move over. The truth is bad is usually used in the hip culture to describe cool things. Twisted, huh?I know, I feel the same way. A bad girl/ boy means a cool/ happening guy/ babe. A bad/ wicked ride means a very cool car. Hmmm,
I can't help but remember a scene from watching the series "Suite life of Zack and Cody", years back. The kids were describing something cool and they ascribed it as "BAD". The older people around looked confused as to why those kids would gladly indulge in something bad. Then, the hotel manager intervened by saying " Kids nowadays, bad means good." This is the kind of culture we live in today.

While people may be going with the flow and unconcerned. I feel a bit ruffled about this. And the unfortunate truth of this is more teens and youths want to be bad than good. Like I said earlier, to them, bad means cool. It is believed that if you are bad as a guy , you get more popularity , more girls etc. Also bad girls get to have more fun. And "GOOD" in itself has gone into obscurity.

What happened to calling a spade, a spade. What happened to those times when good deeds and conducts, were been praised among youths. When was the last time you heard a teenager /youth talk proudly about being a virgin? Nah! That's not in vogue again, you have got to experiment. In fact, they are ashamed to let people know they are one and can't wait to shed off their virginity.
You don't dare tell your peeps you don't drink, smoke or do drugs, you 'll just become a laugh stocking. More than ever "BAD" is gaining upper hand and the few young ones who believe in "GOOD" are too ashamed to stand up for it.

It is time we call a dog a dog and a dove a dove ( tautology intentional. lol) . Lets face it, Bad means evil , terrible, devilish, amidst a lot of other horrible meanings, so why would I want to be associated with bad!
While the media and even parents are aiding the decadence of morals, It is essential that you and I have to stand up for the "GOOD" we believe, so that others will come to the light.

I believe in saving oneself for sex till marriage

I believe that a good name is better than riches

I believe that good and God fearing guys are the ones you should date and marry. No matter what a bad boy looks like or how much he has, he not worth me.

I believe in good character and morals.

I believe that a real woman's worth is not in how she looks or dresses, but in the strength of her character and inner virtues.

I believe in Jesus. And I know when come to him , he turns you from bad to good.

What do you believe in?

FICTION,

MY BESTMAN 3

Hey people! How is it going? Congrats to Nigerians on a well deserved victory on the presidential polls. Nigerians came out in mass to vote. In my polling unit, I saw the aged and disabled wait for hours just to cast their vote. Nigerians are beginning to understand the meaning of democracy.

Just for laughs: My living room turned to a "situation room" as the results of the polls were been announced. I became the Returning Officer while hubs was the Coalition Officer. I called out the results as it was been announced and hubs typed out the votes accruing to the various parties. Even when my sis called, l had to tell her "Please call me back ,you are calling at a critical moment!" Lol

Back to business, So here is the part 3 of fiction I have been working if you missed the previous edition click here
Kindly let me know your thoughts on it.

Lunch with Reynolds was a wonderful affair. He and Tale dined in Royal Affair in Ikoyi. He spared no cost as he ordered the best cuisines. After lunch, he suggested that they check out the Deluxz boutique, a few blocks from the restaurant.
They got to the boutique and began window shopping. Suddenly, a beautiful pair of nude stilettos caught Tale's eyes. Tale is a sucker for nude shoes, she couldn't just take her eyes of it.
"Do you like it ?" A voice from behind said. She turned around to find Reynolds staring at her.
"He must have caught me admiring the shoes" she thought to herself.
"Yes , I was just admiring them."
" Why don't you try them on?"
" No way, I can't even afford them! "
"Just try them on Tale, don't be a party popper" he urged.
"Ok'' she finally gave in.
Tale tried on the shoes and it was a perfect fit.
Reynolds walked away as she admired the shoes .
"Tale," he called from the counter,
"I think we should get going? "
"Ok, just a minute" she said as she stooped to remove the shoes.
"You don't have to remove them, you can wear them out."
"What! That would be pilfering."
" Well," he answered "not anymore. Its yours now."
Tale eyes grew big "No Reynolds ,you didn't .... He gave her a nod with wide grin.
"Thank you ,Thannnk you, thank you! She exclaimed joyfully as she made her way to the door.
"Eh Madam," the sales attendant called out to her. "You left the shoes in which you came in, and you also forgot to collect the box for the new shoes."
*

"Gist me joor" Tanya said as she chatted with Tale on the phone.
"As I was saying Tanya, I had the best time of my life. Reynolds gave me a treat of a life time."
She chatted on about their date to Tanya.
"He must be so boxed up to give you that kind of treat o!" Tanya replied
"You can say so Tanya. Infact, I think I just caught a money bag. I don't mind that kind of man for a husband o!"
"Eh hen! But,is he a Christian?" Her friend asked.
"Well, he should be, because he told me he attends the Tabernacle of Grace."
"Oh! you mean the church in Lekki."
"Exactly."
"OK, Tale just be careful .You know you cant just marry anybody, you have to pray about it and carefully study the guy."
"Pastor Mrs Tanya! I don hear o"
"Am serious Tale....."
Tale's phone began to beep with another incoming call .
"Tanya, please I have to go now, Alvin's is calling me."
"Who?" Tanya asked
"Allllllllvin ,the guy I met in church the other day.Remember?"
"Oh! I remember"
"OK babes take care." Tale said as she ended her friend's call.
"Hello"
"Hey! Tale, its Alvin"
"Hi you ,what's up"
"Was thinking of going to the cinemas this weekend, we could go together if you don't mind?"

Church ended 10am as usual. Like every Second Sunday, Tale had to wait for the youth meeting.
The meeting proceeded as usual with Sola the president, presiding over it
"You are welcome to our monthly meeting. If you are joining us for the first time, could you please signify by raising your hand?"
Several hands went up and a loud applause filled the room.
"You are all welcome." Sola continued
"Please move to the right hand where Tale our PRO, will receive you and write down your details. We look forward to seeing more of you. God bless you."
The meeting ended after thirty minutes.
Tale put the visitors form in her bag and stood up to leave .
"Excuse me," came a voice from behind .
She turned around to see a man staring at her. He happened to be one of the newcomers to the youth group.
"Hi, my name is Uche."
"I just wanted to tell you that I liked the way you anchored the youth fiesta."
"Oh ! Thank you." she smiled
"Will see you next Sunday right?"
"Sure." she replied
"Cool. have a nice week." And he was gone.
